Start with your plants.
The planned “Ask my team” flow would bring a plant question, selected photos and yard context from Plot & Petal into Den & Desk.
Growing something new
A cozy world of animal characters, a team to turn to, and a place to bring your yard questions together.
Den & Desk is in development as a companion to Plot & Petal. Gardening specialists, shared yard accounts and weather planning are on the roadmap.
Meet the ideaThe companion we’re building
Keep your everyday yard view close, and step into the headquarters when you want to explore a question with the team. The connection between the two apps is planned.
The planned “Ask my team” flow would bring a plant question, selected photos and yard context from Plot & Petal into Den & Desk.
Visit a gardening guide, explore possible causes with a plant-health specialist, or ask a weather planner about upcoming conditions.
Review the guidance and its sources, approve a care task, and track it in both apps. Shared accounts and task syncing are still to be built.
Bring your own AI connection. AI features will require your own supported provider API key, or an approved provider sign-in where available. API usage is billed by your provider. A chat subscription does not automatically include API access. Customer connection setup is still in development.
These are planned AI roles, not professional credentials. Plant-health guidance will need clear uncertainty, supporting evidence and a way to seek qualified local help.
Behind the scenes
The current office is an owner-only workspace for building both apps and websites. It is separate from the future customer garden companion. Gardening specialists, shared garden accounts and the care workflow are still in development.
A few things to know
Yes. Den & Desk is being developed as a separate companion to Plot & Petal. The plan is one user account and the same permitted yard information across both experiences.
Those options are planned. Provider registrations have been prepared, but shared-account sign-in is not yet available in the apps. The separate internal workspace uses its owner-only access and app sign-in controls.
That is the plan: start with your own supported API key, then offer official provider sign-in where available and authorized. Signing into Den & Desk with Google or Apple is separate from connecting AI access. Provider plans, limits and charges vary; we have not enabled customer AI connections yet.
Not yet. The yard-care experience, specialists and weather connection are planned. A character or delivered file does not mean an AI has started work.
There is no public release date or confirmed price yet. The internal development workspace is owner-only. A separate customer garden companion is planned.
