DEN & DESK

Questions

Find out what is available now and what still needs to be built.

Good to know

Before you step inside.

Can I download Den & Desk today?

Not yet. Plot & Petal is coming first, followed by its Den & Desk companion. There is no announced download date. Visit Plot & Petal for launch news.

Will my Plot & Petal subscription include it?

An eligible paid Plot & Petal subscription is the current plan. The exact eligibility, any Den & Desk fee, renewal, cancellation, and included features will be confirmed before launch. No subscription is sold through this page.

Does signing in let Den & Desk see my garden?

Sign-in identifies your account; it does not automatically unlock another app’s on-device files. The plan is for the two apps on the same device to use a secure connection that you approve. Den & Desk could then use your local garden records for the features you choose. This connection is not built for customers yet.

Will Den & Desk have its own privacy policy?

Yes. This separate app will handle personal garden information and questions sent to an AI provider. Its policy and in-app controls must explain what it reads, what leaves the device, what is saved, and how to disconnect or delete data before customer release. That policy is still being written.

Will my AI subscription cover AI requests?

An ordinary chat subscription does not automatically cover API-key use. Den & Desk plans to offer a supported provider connection you choose. Your provider may set separate limits and charges. Before launch, we will explain the supported connection and separate billing path; customer AI connections are not available here yet.

Can the animal team tell me what is safe?

No AI answer is a safety clearance or professional advice. The planned experience will show sources, uncertainty, and when to seek qualified local help. For a possible poisoning or other emergency, contact the appropriate emergency or poison service immediately.

Does looking up a plant use AI or share my garden?

No. This public name lookup runs in your browser and opens a Plot & Petal field guide. It does not read your saved garden, sign you into Den & Desk, or send a question to an AI provider.

What is available now?

A protected customer sign-in pilot can create an Apple or Google customer account, but it has no garden workspace or AI team yet. Shared Plot & Petal account and yard access are still being built.
